I just got the game and it’s really good so far I just got to the part where you first meet johny silver hand but I wish you were able to have able to toggle first and third person kind of like fallout 3 4 and new Vegas

Solas is indeed the ultimate magic user. There's no way Fenris would be some ancient magister's puppet; he'd see Solas as the ultimate confirmation that mages have too much power and it's dangerous to the world we know. If he does show up, which I would enjoy, I have to think he'd be an ally. I do agree Bioware sometimes takes a few too many liberties with the fates of companions, but Fenris was pretty universally beloved in my experience.

I'm hoping with them saying that they'll get to see our creations soon, means that they'll do something like Dragon's Dogma 2 or Saints Row. Where they release the character creator before the actual game is released so we can get our hands on it early. Do I think that they'll do that? No. But let me live in blissful naiveite 😂

I’m guessing this character is either a woman or what about the idea of a Synthetic character? Could this character be a synthetic being? Not saying EDI but maybe someone like her? A new advanced model of Synthetic AI? Just speculation on my part Shepard returning is a controversial topic because it’s like the question: Should Iron Man return in the MCU despite his big sacrifice at the end of Endgame.

The kid lies because when Control and Synthesis option are chosen, Shepard's eyes turn into synthetic blue circles eyes like indoctrinated Illusive man and Saren had. Destroy option is the only option where Shepard's eyes stay normal, human eyes, meaning Shepard didn't succumb to the reaper indoctrination. Also, I wasn't mad about endings, because I think Bioware was trying to "indoctrinate" player across three games into making the wrong choice. And in my case, they succeeded, because I chose Synthesis the first time. I got too attached to Legion, Edi and Geth as a race. I didn't want to see them destroyed, and I allowed Bioware to push me towards one of the indoctrination options. That's why I never considered ending to be "just 3 color variations". I was admiring Bioware on their succeeding to get me invested so much in my squadmates (except Kaidan. Sorry, bro.) and the Mass Effect world in general that they basically manipulated me into making the same mistake Saren and Illusive man did: thinking they know better and I allowed my attachments to cloud my ultimate goal from the start of ME1, which was to destroy Reapers and get the galaxy rid of their threat. In my opinion, such subtle interaction between developers and gamers should be lauded and not ridiculed, like most of the gaming world did.

I was skeptical after the trailer and seeing certain design choices. However, I must be honest by telling you that I am actually really excited to get another game from Bioware especially of being one of my favorite franchises. I'm currently re-playing all of the DA games.. -- I wonder where the story will lead in Veilguard and if we get /some/ unanswered questions answered or at the least mentioned. Wondering how much the Darkspawn are involved, they were such a major threat in the original game(s) but then simply became more like ''filler'' enemies etc. Also, I feel like people overpraise DA:O combat for nostalgia's sake. It's a pretty clunky/frustrating combat system that isn't as fluid as the other titles, due to constantly pausing and switching characters. Due to the fact that companions do not use all of their abilities and they only use more depending on their combat tactics skills and even then they do not end up using most of their abilities themselves.
